2008 Membership Dues:

The last day to pay your membership dues is February 29th or your membership will be cancelled.  You must show a valid hunting and/or fishing license when paying the dues to the caretaker or if you are mailing in your dues you must write down your hunting/fishing license number down on the invoice.  If you have a question about the dues you owe, please contact Jim Sesher or Brett Reed and do not question the caretakers about the amount.  Please be sure to retain your receipt as proof of payment for your dues and assessments. 

 

Turkey Shoot:  The first Turkey Shoot of the year is scheduled for March 9th starting at noon.  Start getting your workdays in early by contacting one of the Committee Chairman and find out where you can help out. 

 

Membership update:  Boe Roach was voted on for full membership and accepted.

 

Hunter Education Course:

A Hunter Education course will be offered on March 21st and 22nd.  The course will take place at the Boone County Parks and Recreation, Boone County Safety Campus on the 21st from 6:30P.M. to 9:30P.M. and at the Moonlite Hunting & Fishing Club on the 22nd from 8:00A.M. until completion (around noon).  For more details please call the Boone County Parks department at 334-2117.  There is no charge to take the course and you must pre-register for the class by calling the Parks Department.    

 

CCW Class:

A Carry Concealed Weapons class will be held on March 1st starting at 8:00A.M

 

Easter Party:

Our Easter party will be held on March 22nd with the Easter egg hunt starting around 1:00P.M. and the Easter Bunny will arrive around 3:00P.M.  There will be a dinner held afterwards at 5:00P.M.; Boz Joslin will be cooking the loins for the meal so please bring a covered dish.  Ivan Varney has volunteered to dress as the Easter Bunny. 

 

Euchre Tournaments:  February 23rd and March 8th & 22nd starting at 8:00P.M.

 

Raffle winners: The winner of the $100 monthly raffle was Herb Hicks.
